After working with many clients I have come to realize that most people have the same questions and challenges. I have found that some people thrive on financial programs that offer a strict framework to follow for guaranteed results. There are many however who realize that life is full of grey area and not just black and white, and really strive to understand how to make decisions based on their unique situation. While I try and accomplish this through my coaching program, the reality is that as one person I can only help so many people before I run out of time. This prompted me to start developing an online course that touches on what I believe are the key principles people need to understand to make informed financial decisions. These topics include:

  • Financial principles – to be successful with your finances you need to know how money works.
  • Budgeting and cash flow – the first step in building wealth is generating positive cash flow. We explore how to setup budgets to monitor and sustain positive cash flow.
  • Building wealth – there are many ways to save your money once cash flow positive, so we explore the different options along with the pros and cons of each strategy.
  • Psychology and habits – this is one of the subjects I see missing in most finance programs. You need to understand your spending habits and how we as humans are influenced by marketing and other external factors.
  • Goal setting – building wealth and saving is pointless without knowing your desired outcome. Setting goals is the means of mapping out your destination. When you understand your goals you know how much you need to save and what changes you need to make to get there.
  • Preparing for what’s next – no financial program is an end-all be-all for everything you could learn in finance. I attempt to give you some next steps, as well as education so you can confidently talk to finance professionals and know they have your best interest in mind.

The course is in development but getting ready to launch in the near future. Check back regularly or subscribe to the newsletter to be notified when it launches.
